Boy do I feel like you know what today, broke down and had the Chinese buffet with my son yesterday.  At least I didn’t go to the state fair and have my Chinese food deep fried.  I herd that you can get deep fried pizza at that place, what the hell is that about???  Lets brake down the caloric intake in the meal and find out how many calories need to be burned today.

1/2 cup of white rice(169cal),

6oz of pepper chicken(215cal),

6oz of general tso chicken(545cal),

6oz of peanut chicken(468cal),

and butter potatoes(340cal).

Looks like the total amount of caloric intake for the one meal is approximately, 1737 calories(yikes).  I am probably missing some calories somewhere, so this is probably lower than actual.

To burn the calories in the general tso chicken alone, you could do any of the following:

  • 151mins of walking
  • 62mins of jogging
  • 45mins of swimming
  • 83mins of cycling

Those calculations are based of the average female height of 5′7″ and 150lbs.

Now you can see that if you are trying to lose weight, the damage that can be caused by one meal will inhibit your ability to lose any weight.  It is impossible for me to burn off all the calories in one exercise routine, it will take several.  If weight loss was my goal at this time, than I would have set myself back about a week….GUILTY!!!

What about LOTS of whiskey. I mean whiskey to the point where the roof of your mouth is steaming like a busted radiator on a hot August day and your head is spinning like Helio’s tires…Guilty?

Mike, In this case you probably vomitted plenty!!! Hydration is going to be vital!!! GUILTY!
A gallon of water and 45 min. on a cross trainer, you probably couldn’t handle anything else!!!

Man, I ate a chicken sandwich meal from Hardees about 4 hours ago… still feels like I have a big rock in there!

I guess I have cardio in my future.
